I have sailed Carnival previously the Inspiration and was a great cruise did not experience any of the disappointing stuff I did on the Miracle. They changed soda policy which is ridiculous then I see many passengers bring cases of soda through security and on board. When I was told we couldn't was very upsetting. Carnival has let me down and I will probably be sailing with Norwegian in the future.
Embarkation

Good till a Carnival Employee entered my cabin without knocking or identifying himself then entered the bathroom where I was naked using the toilet.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Main Restaurant staff was great friendly,professional,personal.. Buffet area food was good but some of the workers did't speak English so had some difficulty.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
Enjoyed Comedy show, Bingo, Casino . The Jacuzzi's at both main pools were not hot for whole cruise. The Jacuzzi in 21 and over was but could not use it. Even tried Jacuzzi in gym and it was cold as well complained but nothing done. The pools are way to small for the amount of passengers on this ship 4.4feet etc pictures of pools very deceiving.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Comedian Tim was great the Michael Jackson impersonators worse I ever seen and or heard should have used Michael's tracks not there own voices they were off key and pitch...
Children's Programs
Had no children with me but there was way to many children in pools no parental supervision.
Service and Staff

Main dining waiter for our table was the best. Our room steward was also great very personable.
Ship Quality
1 out of 5
Ship is out dated lots or rust areas, the cabins are out dated as well not to mention the 19 inch TV/monitor in the cabin. We had frayed and torn towels stained pillows was very disappointed in the upkeep.
Cabin / Stateroom

Steward kept cabin clean. Cabin was real tight for two people toilet small and low to ground shower not for tall people my roommate 6.2 285lbs and they didn't give us separate beds as requested during booking.
Ship tip
Don't its not a Miracle its a Disappointment. Ship needs a make over desperately.
I stopped reading after they claimed Carnival crew walked in without knocking and entered the bathroom with them in it. They either didn't hear the knocking or completely made this up. Carnival crew is very professional so I highly doubt a lot of what this person is saying.
No, the beverage policy has not recently changed. Been the same for years. You can still bring uptown 12 cans of beverages on board per person. That is soda, milk, sparkling water or juice, as long as it's in an unopened can, not bottles. Also, 1 bottle of wine per person allowed.
