Review summary

Carnival Miracle was a great ship, plenty to do and plenty of staff to take good care of you. We booked excursions in several ports and loved them all. The booking process was very easy and was what we expected. We are planning to go on Carnival again in April. :) Loved Cruise Director Andy!

The photographers did a great job capturing all kinds of events. We loved the photo shoots where you had nice backgrounds to select from to make your memories come to life.

Entertainment

The Love and Marriage show was hilarious. Cruise director Andy made it so much fun. We enjoyed Hasboro Game night, The nightly shows with the entertainment crew were fantastic. The 80's Trivia and dance party was energetic, lots of fun and my favorite of the cruise. We saw only 1 comedian and he was ok. The bartender who was in the Beach Party Night show was amazing. He was so good at flipping, throwing, catching glasses, bottles and anything else he could get his hands on... I watched him the whole time he was so good! Cruise Director Andy was our favorite. He is very funny, witty, loves his job and you could tell he supported his staff.

Our son is 9 and he went a couple of times and liked it. He wanted to hang out with us so he did not spend a lot of time here. The staff were very nice, the rooms looked very inviting for little ones. Build a Bear is a big hit.

Service and Staff

Our room steward - Sakti on deck 7 was fantastic. Always greeted us each morning. Introduced himself as we walked in our room and was always helpful. He made sure we always had a nice clean room to come back to each afternoon. He made some awesome animal friends that we all loved. He took the time to wish a Happy Birthday and wrote messages to us throughout the week. Super service. Thanks Sakti. Cruise Director Andy - Carnival where have you been---- this guy is the bomb! He was super funny, totally dedicated 24/7 and truly turned us into Carnival Cruisers. We were already looking at cruises while we were on the cruise! Andy's knowledge and sense of humor are just infectious and leaves everyone in a fantastic mood. Promote that man Carnival... Our service team in the Bacchus Dining area was great as well. Team Waiter Anastasia was so wonderful. She was right there to fill your glass, bring you whatever you ask for quickly and always with a smile. During the performance show she would bring a little one to dance with her and it was always a great time. She was our favorite. Team Waiter Arnel was very good as well- always had a smile and brought us whatever we needed. Always addressed us by our name which was very nice. Team headwaiter Riomar always remembered us and what we wanted to drink. Overall very nice experience. Anastasia was fantastic!

We have absolutely no complaints about this cabin. We loved the room and the balcony. The location was awesome and it was quiet. When we go on this boat again, we will want to get this room. Size was just what we needed. We had 2 adults and 1 child in the room and it was perfect.

Ship tip

Explore the ship... seriously walk in every area of the boat... so you know what there is to do on the boat. Watch your daily list of activities for hidden gems like Craft at Sea, and go to the shows!

We did the Xunantunich Ruins excursion was very neat and a wonderful history lesson. You take a 2 hour bus ride to the Ruins. Our tour guide Dee was fantastic and told us all about the area, the people, the industry and culture. We learned a lot from her and she was very good at her job. We hiked the Ruins and as we were coming down he tallest ruin it poured. They did a great job, drove us to lunch and a little shopping and they had to hurry back to catch the boat back. It is an all day event but it was worth it. We enjoyed it.
