Review summary

Be sure if you get motion sickness to know this ship rocks! Primarily because it was built for the Panama Canal and is therefore tall and ling and not wide. Be sure to know at each port arrival and departure times, to coordinate excursions. Our Belize excursion took us to a remote Island to snorkel, and took all day, denying us to even visit Belize.

Always great leaving USA behind for several days

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Buffets had repeative food choices. Steakhouse and Bracchus Dining made it worth dining.

The Carnival Deli

5 out of 5

Better than lunch buffet and made to order.

Bonsai Sushi Express

3 out of 5

We are eating this solely on its location. It is no wheres in restaurants. You will miss it otherwise. It is also a paid food choice.

Lido Marketplace

3 out of 5

This food was repetitive and similar to in quality to cafeteria food. Also way too much salt in it. First day at sea, urinated on the hour throughout night. Another group of strangers shared same experiences. The 9th floor also did not offer different buffet choices at stations.

Nick & Nora's Steakhouse

5 out of 5

Magnificent food. But this is out of pocket per person, and tips. Although steaks were delicious, after dining at Bracchus where its free, with exception of the steaks dinners at $20, it was comparible and less expensive in Bracchus. This steak place although better served the formal dining experience.

Horatio's Lido Restaurant

4 out of 5

Why is a sushi bar not even close to the Lido and off a beaten path?

Pizza Delivery

5 out of 5

Really great made to order pizza here.

Bacchus Dining Room

5 out of 5

You should skip the buffet and eat here. Food is magnificent.

Onboard Activities

They need a more active and involved Cruise Director.

Mr. Lucky's Casino

1 out of 5

Dear God due something shout ventilation and air quality. We had to travel through the dense cigarette smoke to get to areas on this boat. Also if you are even near that casino, you will be exposed to second hand smoke. People that care about their general health, Asthma and people on O2 beware!

Slide Entrance

This is a small slide

Guest Services / Shore Excursions

3 out of 5

Customer Service lines are endless! The Shore Excursions staff hold designer hours. Had to go through CS to book, because they were closed.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Not a friendly lay out. This ship needs dry docking. Lacks luster and shine. Many things appeared worn out and needing repair and replacement.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5

Ship tip

Dry dock to make it ship shape perfect. Add Guy Burger. This is a tall and long ship that rocks badly than other ships. Be ready to 2 step.

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

Staff Not attentive enough to handicap. Need a second elevator too.

George Town, Grand Cayman

3 out of 5
No excursion this time around, because last cruise, wasn't impressive to get on a tender boat to shore again.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
Love the public beach access with free lounge chairs and good dining choices while there.

Belize City, Belize

5 out of 5
Regret we did from ship to boat to Island all day excurtion. You will miss visiting Belize with . Not enough time given for this msin stop. Never had an opportunity to experience Belize due to this all day exertion.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Island venders a bit pushy, but lots to enjoy while there.

You saw the better part of Belize...jus sayin

I’m guessing this was a Caribbean cruise? The Caribbean is much less settled than the Pacific. I have an extremely sensitive stomach and have done the Mexican Riviera cruise twice on the Miracle with zero sea sickness.
