Review summary

Sailed south off the coast of Baja for 2 nights and a day. Seaday was cold. Cabo had nice weather. Saw some interesting fish on my snorkeling excursion to Pelican Rock. Next day we were at Puerto Vallarta. Took the 7-hour pirate cruise to snorkeling and a beach. Next sea day was warm. Went swimming in the adult pool. The adult area on the ship is very nice! Plenty of room for everyone. Enjoyed the Halloween decorations on the ship. Enjoyed the choices of food at the buffet. Also enjoyed the desserts. I had the seating for dinner where i could go from 5:45 to 9. That worked very well for me. The band--Liverpool Rock-- at the Red Frog Pub was so fun to listen to.

Embarkation

Had to wait in line outside for a long time until our group was called, but it was very orderly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The dining room was nice. I didn't go to any specialty restaurants. The buffet area was very well laid out with lots of space for eating and moving around.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
I swam. The whirlpools were crowded and the same people stayed in them a long time. There should be rules about that!

Entertainment

3 out of 5
There were only two musical shows out of 6 nights. I don't like hypnotists and lip sync shows. The comedians were good. The band at the Red Frog Pub--Liverpool Rock and Roll-was EXCELLENT! The cruise director has way too much "hype."

Children's Programs

No children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Great! Easy to find your way around! Common areas were clean, etc.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was small, but I chose that type of a room to be economical. I liked it, but there was only one socket!

Ship tip

Bring a plug with multiple outlets!

No excursion. Just went home.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

It was good. I did an excursion.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

You have to take a really long boat ride to get to a snorkeling place and then, there was only 30 minutes of snorkeling. My original excursion got cancelled so I had to take a more expensive one.

Disembarkation

I kept my bags with me. I was lucky. My deck was the first one called.
