First time to the Mexican Riviera

Sail Date: September 24, 2016

Reviewed: 2 months ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Inside

Cabin: 4146?

Mexican Riviera itinerary was good-- Cabo San Lucas,Mazatlan

and

Puerto Vallarta.  Loved all the various bars on the

ship.  It's time for refurbishment of Miracle's cabins

and dining room furnishings. Overall cleanliness and

service was good. Must ask for housecoat use; no evening

chocolate; cabin serviced once daily (steward is always

available however ); mini-bar is not stocked (great for us

because we had entire use of fridge and didn't have

to worry about mini-fridge charges); entertainment was

good; cruise director was not the best-some in our group felt

that not enough  creativity was spent on getting the

singles group together; Serenity was marvelous!; food

was respectable-omelette station was great; no shushi

bar;  lots of action in the casino; perfume selection on the ship was extremely

limited; liquor selection was average; bedding was very

comfortable; inside cabin with obstructed view is a

great value!; embarcation was painless; disembarking took forever due to

luggage slowdown.  I'm guessing staff has thinned

on all ships so Carnival can staff the mega ships

without hiring too many additional people.

Overall-good cruise.
