Just an okay cruise

Sail Date: May 01, 2013

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Ship was commissioned in 2004 but it seems older. Our stateroom was nice but the cold water in the sink took forever to get cold. Remote control did not function properly but I attribute that to low batteries. We did not ask for them either.

Pros: Catamaran and looking for wildlife

Cons: Food

Recommends Carnival Miracle? No.

Ship Quality
Always clean. Casino always smokey. Embarkation moved quickly as well as debarkation.
Food and Dining
Dining service was slow at times. Dining room food was not the higher quality I expected.
Cabin / Stateroom
Balcony mid ship. Room Steward did a great job cleaning room a d attending to our needs. With many older people cruising more it would be nice if an electrical outlet was closer to the bed area-maybe wired into lamp. This could accommodate CPAP and other necessary devices. The long extension cord across the floor worked fine but it can be a safety hazard.
Service and Staff
Staff were very nice; some talked more than others. Never interacted wih any of he ship's officers though.
Boring while at sea. Seems to be same things. Noticed the same passengers were contestants multiple times.
