Seriously Disappointed in the Miracle Carnival Ship

Sail Date: January 20, 2013

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

We have cruised many times on Carnival and we were disappointed with cruise,  Particularly in the large number of people on the ship.  There were many groups, with cabins booked to capacity with 4 to a room.  The condition of the ship was poor.  It was not real clean and needs a major paint job!.  The food was not as good as other Carnival ships we have been on.  The buffet ran out of food several times due to the large number of passengers.  However, the ports were fun and port excursions were plentiful.  Evening entertainment was limited, with Bingo more than three times in the theater.  Trivia was great!

Ship Quality
paint was chipped evrywhere. The furniture on the balcony was peeling and rusted
Food and Dining
Not a good as other Carnival ships, but, it was adequate.
Cabin / Stateroom
Nice accomodations, but, needed a serious update. Carpet was worn and stained.
Service and Staff
Cabin crew was great, as well as dining staff. Buffet was less than what we expected.
Entertainment
Bingo was the primary activity. BORING!!!!!
Children's Programs n/a
Onboard Activities
The shows offered were good. Late night comedians were really funny.
Destinations and Excursions
Nice selection

Tip

This ship has many cabins for double occupancy. Familes and church groups like this ship and it is booked at max capacity. .If you rely on the buffet, get there early. Keep your own supply of hand sanitizer at hand. Ship hand sanitizers and soap dispensers were usually empty.
