A good time!

We recently took an 8-day cruise on Carnical's Miracle. The ship was fine...all what you'd expect. We particularly liked the \"Serenity\" sun deck. It is adults only, and offered really nice cushioned chaises and clam shells. The only problem is that there were not enough of them, and people became very \"territorial\". The food on the lido deck was plentiful, with many new offerings, including a deli for very good sandwiches, a chinese section, along with the usual daily selections. The last day had a chocolate extravaganza, complete with chocolate fountain to dip fruit in, as well as many wonderful chocolate desserts. We were somewhat disappointed in the food in the dining room. Three nights we had to send our entree back because it was cold...(the meat was not even warm!) My very favorite dessert is creme brulee, and was offered the very first night. I did not even eat it! The crust was so hard and thick I could barely break thru, and the custard was very watery!!! What a disappointment!! However, the next night was tiamisu, and was excellent. The waiters were friendly and attentive. So was the cabin steward. The extertainment was great. Of all the cruises we have been on, this house band was by far the best!! We loved every show! Overall we had a very good experience, and are sad it ended so quickly! Oh yes...the embarkation and debarkation process was very smooth, with very little waiting!

Pros: Great ports of call

Cons: Food was disappointing
