8 Night Exotic Southern Caribbean (Ft. Lauderdale Roundtrip)
Sail Date: February 14, 2012
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Family (older children)

The boat was late because of a medical emergency, however we were not boarded until 2 1/2 hours after carnivals expected delayed time. When we finally got to our room it was still not clean.

Food and Dining

This is the worst food we have evaer had on a carnival ship, more than disappointing. Eric, Hazel, & Hali were an excellent wait staff team.

Entertainment

The entertainment was pretty bad. Not as many choices as other venues and shows were scheduled unusually late. Many repeated shows so if you went to one there were none left to see.

Cabin / Stateroom

We have been on 3 other carnival ships and the beds and pillows were so comfortable that we actually looked forward to our much needed rest. Unfortunately the bed was as hard as a granite slab and slanted so we felt like we were sliding down the foot of the bed.

Pros: eric, our my time dining head waiter, was more entertaining than ay of the shows

Cons: the food

Recommends Carnival Miracle? No.
