Great, Relaxing Cruise

Sail Date: December 01, 2011

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was clean, the crew was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was OK, but more like food served at a conference, but not sure you can do better when you have such a large crowd to feed. Even at that, all the food was good, except the scrambled eggs not made in the dining room.

Pros: The convienience of the ship, the family togetherness, & and attention given to us by the crew of the ship

Cons: Getting off the boat in St. Lucia and being bombarded by taxi drivers...the poverty of the islands...the overpriced excursion costs.

Recommends Carnival Miracle? Yes!

Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Beautiful, nice and always clean... Great job Carnival and the crew that took care of us (Indonesia)
Service and Staff
The staff was great. Always nice and seemed to tollerate extremely well some very bad behavior of some guests that were very rude to them. The staff seem to enjoy their jobs and enjoy the work, even though they have long hours and months of working every day and always seem to be there when you need them.
Entertainment
The singing and dancing shows were somewhat entertaining, but generally a nice family event. One commedian was great, the last day. The others were OK funny, weak on content, but tried to make up for the lack of content with the F word. The one commedian that was really funny used the F word too, but he had great content to go with it.
