Too much smoking in too many areas of the ship. The music entertainment was terrible. It was a two man band which played mostly jazz and blues..only a couple of tropical songs. The only backup was their PA system..most of the sound was setup from that...which was a good thing. The variety of food was not good in the buffet each day, except for the desserts. The main dining room food selection was not good....hardly any seafood at all. The steak on the menu was terrible. Paid to go to Nora's steakhouse..don't waste your money...it was not good either.. However; We had a very good room steward We didn't care for the decor of the ship. We also found out by the cab driver they call this ship the 'El Naturale. Now we know why!! I just hope the newer Carnival ships have more to offer. We have cruised 6 times in the past, our first Carnival experience and probably our last.
