We are a family of three taking the first cruise. Our 8 year old daughter got to go to Camp Carnival for a couple of days. She said it was ok. The crew members are wonderful. The restaurant serves decent food. Try to avoid the buffet if you do not want to put on 10 pounds. We had most of our meals in the restaurant. We do not like the buffet bacause it is loud and crowded. We had a extended balcony right in the middle of the back. The room is a nice size. Hurrican Irene affected our port of calls. Instead of going to Puerto Rico, Saint Tomas and Grand Turk, we went to Grand Turk and Half Moon Cay. The entertainment was good on some nights. Overall I will recommend this one to young families. We would want to try some other companies next time.
