Sail Date: May 01, 2010 Ship: Carnival Miracle Cabin Type: Balcony Traveled As: Family (older children) Reviewed: 7 years ago
This is the first time that my family was on a Carnival cruise. The other cruises were on Royal Caribbean and we liked Carnival sooo much better. The decor on the ship was stunning. I heard many guest complimenting the beauty of the decor and saying that this is the first ship they have been on that it soo decorated.Overall this ship and everything about it was wonderful. I highly recommend anyone deciding to go on a cruise to sail with not only Carnival Miracle but any Carnival ship they are a bunch of fun and really worth your money.
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food on the ship was fantastic and there were soo many different options. The pizza was without a doubt the best. They made it fresh 24 hours a day so it was never reheated for you but fresh. The only downside to dinning was that lunch was also in the buffet (and in the main dinning area but not many people went there for lunch)and the lines to get food were ridiculous. There was a sandwich station which was also crowed so most days i just got what ever food happened to have the shortest line because i was hungry.Once seated the staff would walk around with a drink cart giving you water, ice tea, lemonade, coffee, tea, which was great because you didn't have to get up to get it if you forgot.

The entertainment was fantastic. Malcome was our cruise director and he always made me laugh. The shows in the theater were great. They always had good performers. The comedian was absolutely hilarious. People around me were even falling off their chairs (literally)During the day there were plenty of activities not only for children but for adults to keep you busy. They had adult arts and craft, bingo a couple times a day, tea time, trivia games, and many more too keep you busy.
Service and Staff

The staff was very friendly on the miracle. Each person was willing to start a conversation and was also ready to serve you. The bar service was also very good on the decks especially on the 10th deck (highest) they came around quit often.

I give the ship quality a good only because I was not too impressed with the layout of the deck/pool area on the Miracle. The layout was very choppy and seemed congested. It was not open where you could goo all over but cut out into sections with a pool at each. The pools were also very very small considering the amount of people that were sailing.
Cabin / Stateroom

OUr room was on the 5th deck with a balcony. The room was in the middle of the ship which was great because the elevators were right next door. The 5th deck was pretty much right in the middle of everything. Below on the lower decks was the main dinning room, theater, casino, etc. so it was very nearby.
