Review Summaryonce a year, i take a vacation from my three jobs and relax. this was my fifth cruise, (the first taken in 2002 on the advice of my brother), and the just don't stop getting better!
the food was marvelous, and i learned that carnival had sent its chefs to jacques pepin. it shows. variety, and wonderful flavor and quality. i have two chefs in my family, which has been in the hotel restaurant business for eighty years.
entertainment...wonderful! comedian dave sayh, with his wry sense of humor had everyone rolling in the aisles at both his shows, family oriented and late night adult. glenn miller....what can we say? it's a wonderful surprise each time....
the entire crew, jamie, brandon, cruise director brent mitchell, the lovable "big sexy", and the absolutely charming young man we all called Pee Wee, i believe he was from louisiana, were all focused on making sure each guest had a great time....ffrom the department heads on down. from captain cupisti, (most charming and sincere), to the people scrubbing the decks at 3 am...everyone deserves to be commended! if you go on this ship, you will not be disappointed. if you are, it's your own fault.
Pros: entertainment, layout, crew, food
Cons: no complaints at all
