We sailed the Western Carribean on Carnival Miracle for the first time. This is our 4th cruise and was the best as far as the ship. This is the largest ship we have been on and it is beautiful. The staff was friendly, courteous and really enjoyed their work and everyone wanted us tohave the best cruise ever. The shows were great. We were not too happy with the ports because we compared them to the Eastern Carribean and did not find them quite as beautiful, but we liked Belize the best. As always, the food was excellent in the dining room and I found that the buffet food was excellent (this was an improvement from other cruises).

Pros: Friendly, courteous staff and FOOD!

Cons: ports

George Town, Grand Cayman
Nice little town, clean and friendly.
Belize City, Belize
Had a great tour guide in Belize. Very interesting history.

Cozumel, Mexico
Since the hurricane the island is still torn up. We rented a car (pretty cheap) and drove around the small island. It has beautiful beaches and clear blue water.
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Small port. Mostly shopping
Don't Miss: dancers and music in stage area, beautiful costumes, great music
