Disorganized. Poor planning

Not impressed with Cozumel. Too "touristy" and the natives had a bad attitude.

LOVED Belize. We had booked a tour of the Mayan ruins, but for some reason ended up cave tubing in the mountains. VERY COOL. Not for children during Belize's rainy season when the river is very fast. Would have liked to have seen the ruins. The guides were great and friendly and very informative.

Way too touristy. Nothing but shopping. The natives were very unfriendly to us. Except the bartenders of course.

Snorkeling was good. However, after the ship excursion staff told us to get on shore 2 hours "ship time" before our scheduled excursion, when it should have been 2 hours after "ship time", we were already annoyed we had awakened our children at 5 a.m. for nothing, only to get to shore and wait 3 HOURS for our excursion. Then, the appointed time for our excursion came and went, and NOBODY showed up to take us on our excursion. we had to walk all over God's creation to the excursion office. Apparently, the guide had no interest in meeting us at the pier. Because of this delay, we were unable to complete the second part of our excursion, the island tour.
