Far from a "Miracle"

Sail Date: February 01, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Needs facelift. Definitely felt like an "older" ship of the Carnival fleet. Excellent stateroom service but otherwise poor. Entertainment dated and recycled from other previous Carnival cruises. Activities limited, particularly on deck.

Recommends Carnival Miracle? No.

Ship Quality
Dated decor. Poor layout of open decks including split pool areas.
Service and Staff
Staff needs to focus on customer service. Crew lacked willingness and eagerness to serve guests and most seemed as if they didn't want to be there.
Food and Dining
Average food in Bacchus dining room. Nick & Nora supper club a big plus. Casual dining during evening hours mediocre at best
Cabin / Stateroom
Standard oceanview cabin for Carnival ships. Clean.
