Great Value for Money

Sail Date: November 21, 2008

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was well maintained. Very nice balcony staterooms for the money. Beds very comfortable and staff was great. We enjoyed shopping in St Maarten, Zip lining in ST Lucia ( fun but a workout), and the Scenic Train ride in St Kitts was very interesting. It was a little more dress down ship than some we have been on in the past. Some people would really like that aspect as you could wear shorts to dinner except for Elegant Nights.

Pros: staff and service, ports of call

Cons: coffee

Zip lining was fun but don't do it if you are not in good physical shape as there is a lot of climbing.
Basseterre, St. Kitts
Scenic Train Ride was excellent and served great pina coladsa while on the train.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
We love to shop here as there is a great downtown on Dutch side. Also the Greenhouse Restaurant is must for lunch. Excellent escargot and clam chowder. We also love to stop at Beatrice Chocolates which has some of the best Truffles we have ever had.
