Sail Date: August 21, 2008
Ship: Carnival Miracle
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Family (older children)

Ship was very nice and did not feel crowded. Staff and crew were very friendly, helpfui and attentive. Food was good and plentiful. Cabin (inside) was adequate for four, but somewhat tight. Carnival does a good job overall, and tries hard to please, which they do.

Took the excurision to Magan's Bay. Beautiful beach and water. It rained for a bit which complicated things somewhat but not that bad.
Don't Miss: Magan's Bay

Good beach right by boat. Water a bit gunky with seaweed. Nice heated pool, not deep and free to Carnival passengers.

Took the "2-hour" San Juan Nightlife Tour. It is really only one-hour with one hour for shopping. Drop you off only 5 minute walk from ship. It was a good intro to San Juan but understand it is really only about an hour long.

Pros: Dining

Cons: Shore Excusions
