The Trip Of A Lifetime!!

Sail Date: March 18, 2007

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was beautiful. It had such intricate detail throughout. Also, we had some fairly rough seas, and the ship rode very smoothly.

Pros: The shore excursions were great, but by far, the best part of this cruise was the exceptional service provided by the entire staff.

Cons: Coming home(having to leave the ship).

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
The food was fantastic. Absolutely no complaints here.
Cabin / Stateroom
Had a nice balcony to sit out on and look at the ocean. Was very comfortable the entire trip.
Service and Staff
"Above and Beyond" is, without a doubt, the policy and practice of this staff. They were all so friendly, and I was amazed at how efficient they were with so many people to tend to.
Some of the activities were scheduled during our dining time, which was a little disappointing. Overall...the entertainment was fun, energetic, and well rehearsed. Was well informed of location and times for everything.
Children's Programs
We had two teenagers with us. After they found the teen lounge, that was the last we saw of them in the evenings.
George Town, Grand Cayman
Swimming with those stingrays, I believe, was the highlight of the trip. I just wish the sea wasn't so rough when we snorkeled the reef after playing with those rays. It really was fantastic.
Don't Miss: You have to swim with those stingrays!!
Belize City, Belize
Went cave tubing here. It was a blast for the whole family. The rain forest was beautiful. It even rained a short time as we walked through, really added to the ambiance.
Don't Miss: Gotta tube that cave!!
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Another fantastic day at the "Jungle Beach Break". Rented snorkel equipment for the day. Had a great day. Can't beat that open bar, and laying out under the coconut trees...It was truly the life.
Don't Miss: The beach was a nice chance to relax.
Cozumel, Mexico
Saw the Mayan ruins of Tulum. Loved seeing those ruins in person, but not the best excursion of our trip.
