A Great Honeymoon!

Sail Date: October 08, 2006

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

This was my second cruise, my husband's third. The room was just as expected, but the luxurious bedding was beyond our expectations. Carnival must be listening to their customers' wishes, as this was a great surprise. Having a balcony room for the first time was absolutely fantastic. We loved getting up in the mornings and having coffee on the balcony and checking out the new port of call for the day. The food on board was great. One of our favorites was the pool side grill...the cheeseburgers and hot dogs are very tasty! Dining room was beautiful and service overall was good. Our waiter was not personable at all, but his assistant was always smiling. We only ate in the dining room 3 or 4 nights, the others we just ate the buffet, with a different type of food each night. The 24 hour pizzaria is great, pizza anytime! Entertainment was good, though maybe could be a little more modern.

Pros: Beautiful ship, full of fun at all times

Cons: Our particular dining room waiter

Recommends Carnival Miracle? Yes!

Service and Staff
Most of the staff were great, some; not so great!
Entertainment
Lots of entertainment, but shows seemed to lack a bit of creativity.
Ship Quality
Everything was always perfectly clean, layout of ship was easy to learn.
Food and Dining
24 hour pizzaria and pool side grill were great features.
Cabin / Stateroom
Luxurious bedding was great!
Cozumel, Mexico
Shopping galore! We had a great time at Senor Frog's, but this would only be for people who really want to have a huge margarita and a good time!
Belize City, Belize
We Tendered out so far from land, we could barely see it! The water was a dark brown, and the port itself was a bit frightening. We only spent an hour here and right back to the ship.
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Beautiful place, the public pool in the middle of the shopping area is perfect. Swim-up bar, place for the kids to play and adults to sit and relax and dip their feet in the water. Nice view of the water and ship in the distance.
George Town, Grand Cayman
7 Mile Beach is absolutely gorgeous! We went on our own, short taxi ride to the beach and it was everything I've ever pictured about a Caribbean Island. Not overcrowded or over-commercialized, very clean and beautiful.
Don't Miss: 7 Mile Beach
