The food was wonderful in the dining room, but it took way to long to get our food. Some nights it was almost 2 hours before we were through eating and having our desert.

Always go to the Southern Lights dining room for breakfast/brunch at sea days. Lido is nice, but very, very crowded. Just because the ship is larger doesn't mean its any more accessible than smaller ones. Actually, it was a bit more chopped up than smaller ships, and there was lots of walking.

Service in the dining areas seemed noticeably slower this year than what we've experienced in the past. I'll be considering other cruise lines besides Carnaval for subsequent cruises.

Order room service coffee when you get up because the coffee station coffee is undrinkable. More coffee stations needed in public lounges/bars and casino around the ship.

We ate in the dining room every evening except one when we went to the steak house. The service was excellent! Our waiters were the best - Igusti's team!

Placing the dinning room dinner menu each day inside the elevator or other common areas on the ship would be good to help guests plan if they wish to attend dinner that night. Not having to walk all the way to the dining room to see this information would be convenient.

my ratings, don't have kids, so it didn't apply,, entertainment,, I am not much in that, ( I don't have tv) the activities I just wanted to go relax on this cruise, so I didn't get into the activities much,, they have a good amount to get in.

Get a front room and splurge for the balcony 7th floor and higher are the most quiet and comfortable. But you probably wont be in it much. Be ok standing in line its a great way to meet new people and read your daily menu of things to do. Stay active and dont forget the to take Dramamine.

Don't rush to dinner. It gets quite crowded waiting on the dinning room to open. We had late dinning. Make sure to take as many pictures at the ports and on elegant night as possible. You are not required to purchase them. It's fun just looking through them. We found quite a few that we loved!
