Despite Covid, I would recommend anyone take a cruise on Carnival Magic. Carnivals staff are hardworking individuals who go over and above there jobs to make your cruise safe, sanitary, relaxing and fun. We chose not to do any shore excursions to decrease our exposure to Covid, however, Carnival Magic is like a small, extremely clean city with as much or as little to do, as you want. Thank you carnival magic staff for helping me remember life before Covid.

Carnival did a great job. I like being able to pre schedule your boarding time. Even with having to have a Covid test and vaccine card, it was quick and easy. All the staff at the terminal and boarding the boat were great.

As always carnival has the best desserts. The dining room staff Adrian, Edmar and Alayna were great. The dining rooms were constantly being cleaned, were not overcrowded, the staff were funny, professional and safety conscious at all times. The buffet was excellent. Staff were constantly cleaning and wiping down chairs, tables, doors, handrails an any areas where people were present. I felt safer eating on ship than I did in any restaurant stateside.

Carnival Magic offered comedies, dancing and music in all different areas. I enjoyed the violinists who could play modern, country and popular music. Some of the comedians were not my cup of tea but that may be because the comedian geared his monologue toward a younger group who enjoy Facebook, tic toc and so forth.
Ship Quality

COVID has made everyone fearful of stepping out your front door. The crew of Carnival Magic made us forget our fears even though everyone was masked. The crews were Always cleaning, yet the did the cleaning in a manner that was unobtrusive, professional and respectful. The ship design is pretty standard within the industry but this is a long ship so plan on getting a lot of steps in. We loved the hot tubs on deck 5, the views are beautiful.
