Review summary
We had a wonderful time on our cruise. Overall it was a positive experience. However, there are some things that could have made it better. We found this particular ship difficult to navigate. Getting to our dining room was an event. You have to go down and around and then up. At least I think we did. It was so confusing. The ship is really big and you will do a lot of walking regardless of where your cabin is located. We found that the service didn't seem to be as good on this cruise as it had on past cruises, with the exception of our room steward, Arnold. He was wonderful. We have never been fond of cruise food so we weren't disappointed in it this time because we expected it. The ship got us to where we needed to go and that was the goal. So in that regard it served it's purpose and we certainly didn't have a bad time!

Some Carnival ships are laid out for their convenience not the passengers. I study the deck plans on line for a bit to find the snags. Usually the galley is a huge one. The older smaller ships are easier to get around but have less amenities. In my opinion Carnival has some of the better food. They are the only ones that give you a basket of rolls with your meal. Their desserts are much better than RCI too.
