Poor food/activities/service

We have sailed with Carnival for many years -- and unfortunately, we may look at other cruise lines in the future.   We sailed on the Carnival Magic beginning on 5/3/15 out of Galveston.      The food on the Lido deck was not very good.   The service in the dining rooms was EXTREMELY slow.   There didn't seem to be enough staff for the dining areas.  There were not enough activities offered.  The activities director might have well not been on board.   We were constantly hounded to buy something new, it was like we went to a Sale instead of a Sail!   The last night of the cruise, the hallways by the elevators were crammed full of luggage carts and the majority of the elevators was turned off (for use in the debarkation process).  The debarkation process was slow and disorderly.   The general consensus among the passengers was that Carnival couldn't wait to get rid of us!   The carpet in the hallways looks very dirty, spots everywhere.   Very disappointed.
