The cruise started out terrible.  The first two days were cold and the boat was rocking.  This was our first cruise.  I talked to many people on the ship and they said it was the worst cruise they'd ever been on and that it only gets better from here.  Obviously, this isn't Carnival's fault.  The ship was nice and the rooms were very clean.  The staff (all of them) was excellent and catered to all our needs.  We finally got to enjoy the outside of the ship on the last day of the cruise which was nice (slides were shut down due to cold and wind the first two days).  For the most part it was a great boat and fun.  The main improvement I would say that is needed is for the Camp Carnival/Ocean section.  My daughter really wanted to go to the camp, so we let her.  When we came back an hour or so later she was crying and stated that she was so bored and that they had nothing to do but color and draw.  Future Carnival ships need to have indoor slides, bounce houses, games or whatever to entertain better.  All the kids were begging to get out of Camp Carnival when we picked up our daughter.  I heard other parents complaining about the same issue.  Overall, we hope to try it out again or maybe try Disney.

Need a Carnival person to guide people to the appropriate lines when getting back on board from excusion. Everyone thought there was one line except a few people, and people didn't realize until they got to the ship. Some people were yelling at others thinking that they were cutting in line, when they really knew that there were two lines. I know, it's childish, but that's what happens after people party in Cozumel.
