Extra work on my part to get early dining, which was approved on second day late afternoon. Food service was very slow in dining room and some daily events like sail away get together on liddo deck was 15 minutes and guess the name of a few songs.

It gave the appearance of reduced staff and activities compared to past cruises.

Our wait staff in the dining room was great, we even started requesting her [Millka] table for breakfast

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
food getting out was slow
Service and Staff
Millka our waitress was great
Entertainment
Seemed like there were less shows in the main theater and the magic show on Friday night was lame
Children's Programs
Christmas program was real nice
Onboard Activities
Destinations and Excursions
reviews of carnival suggested excursions were pretty poor, this was first cruise we did not book excursions on. we ended up taking a taxi in to a resort and saved over $40.00 for the same package
Cabin / Stateroom
Galveston, Texas
Debarking a real pain this time
Key West, Florida
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
Skip it or find your own activities to do
Nassau, Bahamas
Forget paying high price for Carnival excursion to Atlantis , get a Taxi and pick your pass when you get there

Tip

Debarking was a joke and a real pain this time, we booked our trip about 2 months ago, we were one of the last off the ship even when some folks on our deck were in first groups off. We finally got off around 11:30AM and then getting our luggage and through customs was again a pain on this cruise
