Review summary
Yes, a bit reasonable, and way more available (many people said they booked the week of sailing) than Disney or Royal Carib.
BUT, can't be compared in the wow factor or overall satisfaction to them, even though this is Carnival's newest/biggest ship.
You know you are not imagining it when your 7 and 9 year olds come up and tell you they don't want Carnival again,
at their age they're brutally honest. After one hour at 'Camp Carnival', our 9 year old didn't go back there for 6.75 days, even though she
originally had planned to stay away from the us (parents) during the cruise.
Except the stage performers, the cruise director (Noonan), and room steward, the staff were SO UNINTERESTED/UNMOTIVATED, AND NON-TEAM PLAYERS with the fellow employees, it was unbelievable; saw multiple interemployee arguments and eye rolling! As a physician and educator, you're trained to pick up subtle behavioral issues, here the only training one needed was for the crew, lots of it...
