Review summary

A cruise is always fun, and we did enjoy ourselves. The trip just did not compare to other cruises. The best experience was in the "southern lights" dinning room, food was good and the service was personable. The Magic is a big boat, it seems to me that mostly what was added was cabins, we always had to wait on elevators, lines were everywhere and the theater was full for every performance. Food at venues other than the main dinning room fell under the quantity over quality heading. Also in other cruises I never felt the boat move, in the Magic we felt motion while underway. I feel that maybe we are just outside of Carnivals target market, as our expectation of service levels is greater that others.
