Wonderful 80th Birthday Cruise

Sail Date: August 26, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

The Magic is a beautiful ship with pleasant staff, fun shows and fantastic food.

Pros: The staff on the Carnival Magic - everyone was thoughtful\, courteous and fun.

Cons: Montego Bay - I wouldn't get off the boat....

Recommends Carnival Magic? Yes!

Ship Quality
We compared the look of the ship to others docked when we were\, and it was by far the biggest and appeared to have the most outdoor activity areas. Loved the art deco interiors.
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
Fairly large stateroom. Even with three women and all our luggage\, we had room.
Service and Staff
Our housekeeping staff was exceptional and made sure our requests were quickly accommodated. The wait staff in the dining rooms was pampering. Our waiter in the steakhouse had impressive wine knowledge.
Entertainment
Loved the magic shows. They were entertaining and interesting.
