7 Night Eastern Caribbean (Galveston Roundtrip)
Sail Date: July 08, 2012
Ship: Carnival Magic
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Family (young children)
Reviewed: 5 years ago
Great features.... Waterpark and sky course were great. Slides were excellent for a cruise ship

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Very good\, enjoyable

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Not as many options as I would have thought for entertainment\, but what was there was good.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Both kids enjoyed the camp. My daughter wanted to go back as much as possible!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
very friendly.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Large ship but never felt crowded (except for the main pool in the afternoon). Even breakfast on Lido\, there was always seating available

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Stateroom layout very functional\, but not beautiful. NCL's Gem had a better looking stateroom but it was layed out terribly. Disney had the best cabins afloat.

Pros: The ship had great features

Cons: Limited entertainment\, no live band at poolside

Recommends Carnival Magic? Yes!
