carnival magic 6/3-10

Sail Date: June 03, 2012

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

Newer ship. Large comfortatble staterooms. Staff generally good. ports of call easily accessable. On/Off process without long waits. Drink prices higher than I remember. Shows a little dated. Lots of young children on board, but was expected as this is the summer. Wish there had been more supervision though. Saw several children slip and fall on wet surfaces--one actuallly hitting her head on a corner railing. (no parent or staff in site, offered assistance , but she was afraid to talk with stranger-- appeared to be about 5-6 years old) . Other than that cruise was fun and what you would expect from a Carnival Cruise

Pros: Serenity Deck

Cons: Food

Recommends Carnival Magic? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
our first cabin was located over a bar area so we asked to be moved to a quieter room after the first night. this was done without any problem and the new room was very sapcious and quiert. Room sgtewards were very attentive to detail and service.
