A good value cruise

Sail Date: April 01, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

What you would expect of a ship less than 1 year old...............meaning, modern appointments and convenience...................flat screens, lighting, theater, etc.

Pros: the service staff..............excellent

Cons: the crew............not always very pleasant except at guest services desk

Recommends Carnival Magic? Yes!

Food and Dining
breakfast menu variety was not very good..........I could recite it after the second day.............it never changed unlike our cruise with carnival 10 years ago..........dissappointing.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
As I said................service staff was excellent............the crew........not so good.
Entertainment
Entertainment was a bit lacking: for a ship this size I was surprised that there was not more variety of activities.
Ship Quality
Elevators need priority settings for better efficiency. This is not hard to achieve but the ship was lacking in this regard.
