Not So Magical

Sail Date: February 05, 2012

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

Four Thousand Two Hundred and something passengers on board during our cruise. Too many people meant waiting in line for most things, rude fellow passengers. Haven't been on a Carnival Cruise for about 5 years, but it now seems to be the Wal Mart of the high seas. If you purchase airport transfers from the cruise line, be prepared to wait until they can fill the bus (about an hour and a half in our case) prior to leaving for the pier.

Pros: Staff

Cons: Ship size, number of passengers.

Recommends Carnival Magic? No.

Lots to do, but difficult to get into some venues due to the number of people on board.
Ship Quality
Very clean, well maintained ship.
Food and Dining
Ate in dining room the majority of the time to avoid the crowds on the Lido Deck. Food was above our expectations.
Cabin / Stateroom
Interior room, good size for two.
Service and Staff
Very good service in dining room by our three waiters. All staff we encountered were polite and willing to help.
