AWFUL Cruise experience

Sail Date: January 01, 2012

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

Carnival MAGIC cabin 9330 was just below where they stacked chairs at night. Noise was terrible. This ship is just a smaller Carnival ship with more cabins and more people. Lines for food were long and slow. Menus listed on Carnival website do not reflect what was offered on onboard, maybe they ran out of things like rack of lamb and cornish game hens and many more items. We strongly recommend against booking anyone on Carnival MAGIC unless they like to stand in line and be with thousands of others all wandering about.

Pros: Tandori Food Bar

Cons: Crowds and cabin

Recommends Carnival Magic? No.

Food and Dining
Did not come close to matching what was listed on website.
Ship Quality
Ship was designed to be huge where they added as many cabins as possble.
Children's Programs
Grandchild age 2.5 years loved first experiece and it went downhill after that where he did not want any part of it. Something must have happened and we have not idea what that was.
Cabin / Stateroom
nothing special and missing many of the usual shelves around mirror in cabin above desk area.
