Review summary

Security was the worst. One security guard attempted to tell me as a father that my 13 year old Daughter couldn't come back aboard if she got off of the ship because her room key was messed up! He was not polite and very rude. I did report this to the head of security!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
The day before the last day the crew shut down half of the dinning area for preparation for the next cruise patrons; it would seem that as the current cruise patrons we were no longer important!

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Staff was very rude to all; i sat and observed and came to the conclusion that most of the staff (not all) didn't care for the job they were doing!

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
When you walk past every 10th room you could smell the sewage waste!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our room personnel especially Mr. Noli was a very nice and pleasant person; he could give the other personnel a class on how to treat people! He should be commended for a job well done!

Ship tip

Don't take a Carnival Cruise try another cruise line!

What floor could you smell the sewage smell?

It sounds like all you had to do was replace her card. I'm wondering if you were argumentative with the guard? I could understand being in the process of leaving the ship and being told you have to go to guest services prior to replacethe card.

Now I get it the barcode on the back couldn't be read and they did not want her to get off the ship. Now it makes sense to me. But I agree no need to be rude

Sometimes the barcode comes off the sail and sign cards (sunscreen in hands hands can cause it) so the card is not readable anymore. I went to guest services and got a new one. Not a problem in my case. Once I experienced that I do put it in a case now. So that won’t happen again to me. But it’s not acceptable to be rude with guests. Sorry you had a bad experience.

What were they expecting you to do? Did they want you to go get a new sail & Sign card for your daughter before she left the ship? What happened to her original card?
