I will cruise with Carnival again. I really had no complaints about my experience. Donkey was such a fun and energetic person to be around. I loved the shows and music. My kids really liked the violin players. My interior stateroom was sufficient for what I needed it for. The bedding was super comfortable and I always got a good night's rest. I had a wonderful vacation to the Bahamas and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from it all for a while.
Embarkation

It went quickly. I got to the port around 12:15 pm. The lines were shorter than I had anticipated. Once on board, it was a little chaotic, simply because the amount of people trying to grab a bite to eat. No complaints from me.

Food and Dining

I only ate in the dining room once, for the Elegant dinner. We had chosen the "dine anytime" option, and was told to expect an additional wait for that option. I didn't wait longer than 10 minutes to be seated. The food was a little cold at times, but I enjoyed the options, and the flavor of the food. Guy's Burgers was amazing! I also loved the food at the Blue Iguana and the Pizza place. The buffets offered a good variety each day. I enjoyed the food.
Onboard Activities

I used the fitness center once. It had a good selection of machines to use. The view was beautiful. The pools were always super full. I would have like to have seen more pools.
Entertainment

I attended almost every show offered. Not only was Donkey a great Cruise Director, but the rest of the crew was super talented. I enjoyed the music, and dancing. I would have like to have had more shows offered on the "At Sea" day.
Children's Programs
While I had my there teens onboard with me, they would have all been in different groups, so they didn't want to participate.
Service and Staff

My room steward always did a good job in cleaning the room. He brought clean towels when requested. The waiters were always friendly and helpful. The guest services was always able to help with my issues. It would be nice to see more than one guest service desk, as there was always a long line. I understand you can circumvent the lines by paying for Faster to the Fun, but I did not do this.
Ship Quality

Everything was always very clean. I didn't have any problems figuring where everything was at. The gym and laundry room was the only thing I had a hard time finding. It would be nice to see more than one laundry area per floor. Especially with the iron. There was a huge line when everyone was trying to get ready for the elegant dinner.
Cabin / Stateroom

I didn't need a bigger room, because I wasn't in it very often. The bed and bedding was super comfortable. No complaints from me.
Ship tip
Participate! Go to shows! Eat too much. The food is amazing and so is the entertainment! Don't spend all day in the sun...you can do that anywhere!
Donkey is THE best! He was the Director on the Sunshine 2 years ago and was stoked to hear he was on the Liberty. Except we will miss him :( So sad! But he works hard. Hope he enjoys his vacay. His replacement better crush it...just sayin'
My hubby and I had a four day cruise as we did not think cruising was for us that was 18 cruises ago have been to amazing places and have great memory's 80 days until we leave Australia on our next adventure ð
