Review summary

Cattle herd. 3600 people on board. Food mediocre. No cell phone service at sea. WiFi was 25 bucks a day and extreeeemly, tediously slow. Was in port in the Bahamas for about 8 hours. Day 3 was entirely at sea wandering aimlessly at sea when we could have spent more time in the Bahamas and made a direct line back. No one would answer the passenger service line half the time. Could not escape noise throughout trip. Bottled water was $3.75 in the room. Channel selection in the room was crap. Debarkation and boarding was tedious with 3600 people to move. Muster area was hot, humid, elbow to elbow while at the mandatory safety briefing for about 45 minutes. Very uncomfortable. Hated the trip. Last ocean cruise for me. I might try a European river cruise after I fully recover from this traumatic experience. I can't believe I paid for this torture.

Sea Days are the best for me. I like to have at least 2 on a cruise. I'm doing Liberty in 2018 and I only have one day but I will make that the best day EVER!

If only there were opportunities to do research before paying good money for a cruise. Maybe if there was a site, or a vast myriad of sites that could give someone willing to do a little due diligence... or, it'd be GREAT if the cruise lines themselves provided copious information on their sites... oh wait... that's already out there!

Why would you want to spend more time in the Bahamas when you gave them 1 star! Sea days are great to sun, swim and eat. And don't tell me that there wasn't something to do or see most likely every hour. Shows, tours or activities. Did you learn to line dance or do the cha cha? Did you learn how to make towel animals? No you sat in you cabin trying to make phone calls or checking the news on the Notoriously slow wifi. Some people just aren't cruisers.

Cruising is not for everyone. I think you would like a river cruise better, if not... what can one say. On the other hand, I wish they were more like you, to keep the lines shorter. ð
