Review summary

We have been on this 5 day Liberty cruise ship out of Galveston three different

times and it is always bad. The food is terrible and service also! We cruise

several times a year on other ships but mostly Carnival because of convenience.

I keep hoping the Liberty will improve but so far it hasn't !!

On a five day cruise, The Liberty, does not serve steak and lobster and cuts

back or out on several things in the regular dining room.

Plus in May the ship was having problems with the thrusters before we left

and then cancelled the visit to Cozumel and when we returned I checked

and that same ship still kept going out.

We prefer the seven day cruises on the better ships with better food and

service.

Was not up to par with other cruises even on this same ship.

Ship tip

I would eat in buffet. We never had one good meal in the main dining room plus silverware was not always clean. We were disappointed in not having lobster night or steak night other than their flat iron steak which is a hit and miss and usually not tender. Pizza and hamburgers are always good,

My thought exactly if you don't like it why keep going and expecting it to be different maybe it's not the ship but you who is to blame just saying u expect it to be bad and it is

I can't stop laughing about this previous comment about the dog turd. I'm about to go on the Liberty hopefully it's a wonderful experience and not a dog turd experience. Lol

Sooo..if you take a bite of a dog turd and it taste bad do you continue to do it multiple times thinking it will soon taste like a steak?....idiot.go away

Brown872...you can order it in the mdr for an extra charge....or go to the steakhouse one night and have lobster... There are so many choices every night in the main dining room...and no limit to what you order....have fun...no one knows who you are...lol

Question, we are going on our first cruise on the liberty november 5th. I read they don't have Lobster... so they don't serve it at all or just in the main dining area?

We're on it right now and everything has been great! Yes they took away lobster night but oh well i had ribs that were pretty damn good instead LOL. My wife just ordered surf and turf from the steakhouse menu that she says were great! They only complaint that we have is that we would like to win more in the casino LOL. Also if they could do something about the smoke in the casino. they need better ventilation. Our wait staff and room Stewards have been very nice.

Our first cruise is the 13th on the liberty. It is always good to read reviews from "Debbie downers". We'll make the best of it rain or shine. Peace

Yes why did you keep booking a trip I'm leaving on a cruise on that ship Monday everyone that I have talked to that has cruised on that ship said that it was a blast an the food was good

I am sorry that yall had a bad experience this will be our 4th cruise first on the liberty i am hoping for a good time as long as i am with my wife ask is good
