This was our 10 year anniversary present from our parents.
We enjoyed the excursions best, especially Cozumel. Progreso was good just didn't enjoy the 40 minute bus ride (hot in the bus).
Had balcony 9284 and when we arrived the room was HOT. The air flow was minimal and did not cool the room. Maintenance said the thermostat was set on 74 degrees and they would not do anything else about the air flow.
Requested a fan to help, which did not arrive. My husband went to service desk at 2:00 AM to ask why the fan had not been deliver. The service desk said the room had do not disturb sign. When my husband said it there was no such sign the employee said he was a liar. He went back to the room to verify and return to say there was no sign. Then service desk checked with the attendant that was to delivery the fan only to find out he went to the wrong room. No apology was provided.
While the fan helped, it was difficult to sleep. All other public air conditioned spaces were much cooler than our room.
We heard from other couples of which some were 'freezing' and others were hot.
