Review Summary

We would not recommend this cruise to anyone. We fell for the cheap price tag and thus received a mediocre product. The ship is very dated, the food was lackluster, and the on board activities left you preferring to read your book.

I will state that our balcony suite was kept immaculately by the housekeeping staff, but this level of service and quality did not transfer through the rest of cruise. Cozumel was beautiful, I highly recommend using a resort for the day and taking advantage of the stunning beach.

Overall, this is my last cruise with Carnival. They are priced very inexpensively compared to their competitors, but do not fall for the same mistake we made. An interior on a better cruise line trumps a suite on Carnival.

Being on Lido has its perks and cons especially getting around on this poorly designed ship. The room was very nice and a balcony is a must on a Carnival cruise.

Ship Tip

If you have already booked your cruise, definitely use the steakhouse one night as this will be the only decadent meal that you will have.
