Review summary

This was an amazing cruise! The ports of call are so beautiful. The views are breathtaking. The crew couldn't have been nicer. There were a few hiccups but none so great to spoil a wonderful time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

We've had better on other Carnival cruises but that being said everything was tasty and well prepared. Portions were generous and beautifully presented.

Onboard Activities

Spent so much time on shore there wasn't much time for onboard fun. We did go to towel folding on our day at sea and it was fun.

Entertainment

Not impressed! We attended the family friendly comedy shows and they were entertaining. The tribute to Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis, Jr. was very good. But the others fell flat.

Service and Staff

Wow! We chose your time dining. Fredy, Franklin, Noe, and Lin were so attentive and friendly. They took service with a smile to a new level. They even remembered coffee if we forgot to order it. The young men at the Mexican station were always smiling and joking around. Really made you feel welcome.

Ship Quality

Really pretty with all the holiday decorations. Can't find anything to complain about in the cleanliness department.

Cabin / Stateroom

Always neat and clean. Steward was very attentive yet we rarely saw him.

Ship tip

Go early to buffets as they rarely had all lines open which caused more chaos than was necessary. Lines were longer than usual. Eat at the pool side Mexican station or Guys burgers if you don't want to spend valuable time on board standing in line. Visit the ports of call they are worth your time.

There is so much to see. Take the time to walk the streets and experience the locals and culture. It's safe.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Great if your into shopping and have never been here before. We've toured it on 5 previous visits so we didn't spend much time on shore.

Bridgetown, Barbados

What a beautiful island. We walked off the ship and got a taxi. It was a nice day but hind sight we should have booked through Carnival. He showed us incredible views of the island but the restroom breaks were the pits! Literally!!!

Castries, St. Lucia

Personal favorite this cruise. First impression was the beautiful port. The scenic overviews took our breath away. We took the Land and Sea excursion and even though it rained we had a wonderful time. Many enjoyed the rum punch on the catamaran but not my favorite as it was spiced.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

Took the Top 10 excursion and truly enjoyed it. Again the views were incredible.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Least favorite of the cruise. Part of that was the excursion we booked through Carnival. We chose the Butterfly Farm. All of us that booked this tour had great difficulty getting connected with the tour guide as their was no usual signage telling us where it was nor did anyone we ask know what to tell us. The tour coordinator on the pier finally located someone from the tour that came and got us. Still no signage. We walked to shore with him and had no bus to take us. We left 35 minutes late but returned on the schedule time of return. Did we miss something?
