Review summary

The second day of the cruise, while docked in St Thomas, USVI, there was a fire in the engine room. The fire drill was a disaster. People running from one place to another without any instructions. The crew left the ship without notifying guests what was going on. On land there were several crew members giving different instructions on what to do or where to go. Coming back to the ship in the middle of the night was another nightmare.

We had to fly back to San Juan, pad by the cruise line.

To top things we learned that Sunday, September 14 while ship was docked back in San Juan a crew member was arrested for sexually attacking a guest.

carnival went out of there way to say their sorry. things happen they have it under control. plus at the beginning of the cruise before leaving don't they explain this.

no the arrest was in fact in the Liberty. But the girl withdrew the accusations.

A crew member was the victim of the sexual assault, not a guest/passenger. Still a terrible incident, but it's an important distinction that a passenger was not harmed.

Well considering these ships never stop moving the fact that no one was hurt is a plus and u get a refund and a free cruise with 500 I don't see the problem things happen FREE CRUISE!! Life goes on book the next one and don't let this ruin u on cruising have fun glad everyone was ok

It's was back in the middle of August and they were traveling in the Western Carribean (Mexico, Belize, Hondorus) when it happened. Nowhere near San Juan.
