Vessel sails out of San Juan at 10 PM which makes you count San Juan as an additional port to visit since you are sailing from Old San Juan. The selection of the other ports visited is great: St. Thomas, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, and St. Martin are all great ports. During my cruise the weather was excellent and awakening each morning at a new Island made waking up a day to look forward to a new experience. The vessel, though not new, is being maintained well and is clean, well staffed, and the food is good, too.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Breakfast food at Lido is Ok. Dinner at main dining room is full of surprise well cooked dishes.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Having 2 swiming pools allows you to select how much activity you want to have either a noisier center pool or an adults only pool in the back of the ship.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Typical cruise singers and dancers shows.
Children's Programs

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Enjoy the usual great Staff encounted in Carnival ships, where you are treated with respect and welcome attitude.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Not a new fancy vessel but acceptable condition and a good price for the many ports visited.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
This was a well located cabin in the back of the ship, good size, and plenty of storage space. Near elevator that takes you to the back pool, dining room, and Lido Deck for breakfast and lunch. Not far from Main Pool, Casino, etc.
Ship tip
Most of the tours should be done in the mornings since being summer by Noon is very hot. Bring plenty of water with you and comfortable shoes and make sure you were a hat to protect you from the sun.
Vessel docked in Old San Juan, near Morro and St. Christopher castles. Also near shopping areas, restaurants and other amenities. Sheraton Hotel accross from Dock pier has a great casino.
As the ship is gone at 10:00 p.m. you can abord at noon, leave your things set and everything in San Juan is on walking distance, you will have the time to see that beautiful and historical city.
Dinner 1st night is usually cruise casual...they understand that you may not have your luggage yet. I also remember it being at your scheduled time, or the anytime, if you have that. You can also request table changes with the maitre de (sp) when you board.
Is the dinner scheduled on the first night then or just anytime and any attire? I ask because the ships we have been on before have left before dinner. Also, on line it says you can check in to leave at 2:30. Do you know if they begin boarding earlier? I ask because on past cruises we have experienced the ability to check in prior to the time posted. Our hotel checkout is noon
