Cruising the Bahama's

Sail Date: November 01, 2014

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

Bit overpowering in the dcor--very\, very busy. Enjoyed the adults only deck. Nice lay out of the ship.

Pros: Food in dining room\, room size\, Rock & Roll Show\, time with family\, Serenity Deck

Cons: Walking through cigarette smoke in many locations\, not being able to visit Half Moon Cay\, no faith based services offering-especially on Thanksgiving\, noise in a staff only room beside our room-constant banging of doors\, etc.\, LONG line always at Mongolian Bar-never did get to experience

Recommends Carnival Liberty? Yes!

Ship Quality
Frequently smelled cigarette smoke when walking around.
Food and Dining
Good choices in Main Dining Room\, but lunch and breakfast were essentially the same every day. Liked the anytime dining\, since there were 5 in our party.
Cabin / Stateroom
Bed quite comfortable. Upon arrival\, there was a coating of dust on the furniture and needed vacuuming around the walls.
Service and Staff
Rey\, in the Golden Olympian Dining Room was great\, we requested him the next night after he was our waiter. Difficult to understand most of the staff otherwise.
Liked the rock and roll show.
