Eastern Carribean Cruise May 2014

Sail Date: May 24, 2014

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Inside

The cabin was larger than expected, and quite comfortable.  While plentiful, the food was not extra-ordinary in quality.  The PA system in the hallways cannot be clearly heard in the staterooms.  The onshore tour packages were somewhat pricey.  Better tours and rates can be negotiated at each destination, and although not as luxurious as the Carnival tours, they were more personal.

Long walks to board and disembarq at Cape Canaveral, and only two benches for 3000 people in the returning passenger pick-up area.

Venues were too small for the number of passengers, making it impossible to get seats for most shows

Many shops are closed on Sunday.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
However, it is a long walk from the dock to the shopping areas. Npt much for the tourist to see.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
Grand Turk Island
The best and most easily accessed beaches.
