A cruise I wouldnt go on again

Sail Date: April 01, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

We had a suite which was nice but the person who cleaned the room was not very helpful and did not clean every day. It was gross. We set our things a certian way6 so we would know if they cleaned or tidied up . The food was very poor quality and before you were done eating they were taking it away. Rushing you threw the whole process. It was the poorest cruise yet our most expensive one to date. We have cruised other cruise lines that really had great customer service. We even had V.I.P boarding pass but that no one knew what was going on when it came to leaving the ship. We had a limo waiting and were paying for him waiting. I was very disappointed. On our excursion we were told by the customer service that a lunch was included because it was a 6 hour excursion. Well it was not included which we had very little cash and they6 did not take debit so we were up a creek. I would go again to the places but not the ship. And no one seemed to care.

Pros: the stops

Cons: The food\, the service

Recommends Carnival Liberty? No.

Service and Staff
I was not impressed again we have sailed many times and had good results and are not complainers but the staff just didnt know how to help people and werent customer friendly. We had people fighting next door all night long out on there patio. No one did a thing to quiet the situation.
Cabin / Stateroom
The suite was nice but the person suppose to clean room when we were gone did a crappy job. A child could have done better. Towels were not changed or taken so they molded ect...Water glasses were left from one day to the next.
Food and Dining
It was cold\, and they rushed you when you ate we ate every evening there and they were very pushy about eat in 20 minutes and get going. The quality of food compared to other shipsw was very very poor.
Ship Quality
Not alot to do on board and what there was people would set out beach towels so even though we paid to be VIP we could never get a spot by the pool. Yet those towels NEVER had bodies on or near them. I truly thinki that should not be allowed. On other ships if you paid extra you acctualy got a spot to put your towel and we were up every day by 9. We are not late sleepers.
