Fun and Relaxing Cruise

Sail Date: June 23, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was in great shape maintenance wise and looked extravagant in the Veneitian and the Dining Room (Golden) on the 3rd floor. The ship was clean and the layout was excellent; also it is a big ship. (Liberty)

Pros: The Men's Spa with Shannon was great she was professional and seasoned!

Cons: The room service menu wasn't that great and the dinner menu was limited.

Recommends Carnival Liberty? Yes!

Service and Staff
The staff was excellent in all areas especially for dinner and the steward for the rooms maintenance and quality assurance.
Entertainment
There was a detailed schedule of events for everyday on the cruise. Also, there was instruction on where to go in case of an emergency. Every time something needed to be addressed there was direction over the intercom on what to do and where to go.
Children's Programs
My son and daughter found activities to do for there age groups of 16 and 19 such as the o2 Club and the Casino as well as Bingo and other activities to interest families with older children.
Ship Quality
The layout was excellent especially for the stateroom location my family was in because we were located on the 2nd Floor and many of the activities we were involved in was on the 3rd and 5th floors.
Food and Dining
The food quality was as good as a five star restaurant for dinner although the breakfast lines were sometimes quite long and exhausting and finding a seat was somewhat of a task.
Cabin / Stateroom
There were several things to do on the ship for entertainment such as sunbathing, swimming, going to party's, and of course eating. The stateroom was big enough for everyone with 4 separate beds and quite adequate since everyone was rarely there at the same time except for sleep and dinner.
