The cruise was great! This was our second cruise on The Liberty. The first was for our honeymoon in the Mediterranean (the maiden voyage in July 2005). The ship has been redone since then and we were anxious to see the results. Well, it was awesome! They added new bars, restaurants and updated the decor.
The staff was friendly, always smiling and saying hello. On the first and last sea days, I got a massage at SPA CARNIVAL and it was magnificent! Just what I needed!
Our stateroom (balcony) was spacious and clean. There was always something fun to do on the ship and it was nice to just lay in our room from time to time and nap :)

Food and Dining

We ate at the dining room for most dinners and the food was GREAT! The Buffet was great too. Nothing beats the Guy's Burger Join on the Lido Deck! We had at least one burger a day! They were DELICIOUS! LOVE the 24hour Pizza too!

Our cruise director was Jamie and the Assistant was Christian. They were HILARIOUS! We really enjoyed their humor and entertainment crew and activities. They never made this too raunchy or silly, but still made us laugh! Highly recommend seeing the Love&Marriage show! HILARIOUS!!! They also had comedy shows which we very funny too!

Service and Staff

The staff seemed to really go out of their way to be friendly and caring. They tried to greet you by name whenever they could and made you feel like family!

Ship Quality

The ship was very clean and did not feel over-crowded even for an April holiday season!

Cabin / Stateroom

Very clean and spacious. They gave you anything you needed. Our steward was amazing!

Pros: We loved the destinations, the food and the most friendly staff!

Cons: Children in the jacuzzi :( That just made me skeeve, b/c you know children can't hold their bladders and you don't want kids and their snorkel gear swimming around you in the tub. There was a sign: NO CHILDREN, but it was not enforced. Also, rules should be enforced about NO SAVING lounge chairs!!!

Recommends Carnival Liberty? Yes!
