Review SummaryWe've always sailed with Royal Caribbean in the past, but decided to try Carnival this time based on price and taking the entire family over spring break. Going into the cruise, I figured we give them a shot and see if we liked them. Carnival did a fantastic job and exceeded my expectations. The staff was very helpful, courteous, very friendly. Kids loved our waiter staff at dinner, along with the housekeepers for the rooms. Can't say every employee meet that standard, but in general they did. Lots of activities for the kids, and with the great Camp Carnival staff, lots of fun for the parents too. The food was great, very comparable to Royal Caribbean, and in some cases better. The burgers served poolside were outstanding. The destinations were all great. Make sure you do an excursion in Belize though, as you'll be disappointed if you don't . The ship was not as big as what we cruised on with Royal Caribbean, as they have some really big ships, but I still felt there was plenty of space to explore. All in all, a great cruise, and would recommend it to anyone. Still love Royal Caribbean, but the difference is slight, and Carnival offers better value. Thanks Carnival.
